*UPDATED* Guide To Find the Splash Pads In the Bangor Area

Summer is here and you know that oppressive, Maine summer heat is right around the corner.

Here's a list of the few splash pads in the Bangor area for your kids to visit this summer vacation.  We want to build our list of any missing splash pads as a resource for Bangor area families so email us or message us on Facebook with the splash pads we missed!

Ellsworth

Knowlton Park, 11 Shore Road

According to the City of Ellsworth's website, this splash pad is open from late May to mid October.  The water will be flowing as long as it's above 65-degrees Fahrenheit, seven days a week from 10 AM to 8 PM.

Old Town

Riverfront Park 

Old Town has a splash pad available that overlooks the Penobscot River.

Perkins Avenue Park, 151 Perkins Ave

There's an additional splash pad (thank you to Facebook Followers for this one!) in Old Town behind the Middle School on Perkins Avenue.

Bangor Housing Authority has finished up a new addition to the 'Splash Pad List'.  It is located off of the Davis Road and is open to the public!
