Free Trip for Veterans/First Responders Through the Allagash in July

If you are an adventurous veteran or first responder and want to take advantage of a trip of a lifetime, check out this excursion that you won't want to miss out on!

The Maine Bureau of Veterans' Services posted to Facebook an outstanding opportunity to enjoy the deep woods of Maine on a week long canoe and camping trip through the Allagash.

The post reads:

Pine Grove Program is hosting an Allagash Wilderness Waterway camping and canoe trip from Thursday, July 18th - Thursday, July 25th.

The 7 day trip is FREE for Veterans and First Responders!

The post directs those interested to this web page where you fill out a form that will need your name, email address and phone number.

The trek starts at Pine Grove Lodge in Pleasant Ridge Plantation and expect a remote trip that will include class I and II rapids.
