Free BBQ & Movies This Summer At Riverfront Park In Old Town

You can’t beat a BBQ and a movie in the park...for free!

Its that time of year again, where you make plans for family fun, and although it doesn't feel like it with all the cloudy and rainy weather we have had the last few weeks, Summer is almost here, so get out of the house, enjoy some delicious food, and some of Hollywood's biggest hit movies.

The City of Old Town is inviting the whole family to enjoy some free BBQ, followed by a screening of some huge blockbuster movies, for 8 Friday nights, including the pop culture phenomenon, "Wicked" and the 1980's classic comedy "Ferris Bueller's Day Off"

The scheduled movies have a little bit of something for everyone!

Movie nights will have a food truck or two kicking things off at 5pm, at Riverfront Park, next to Pepper's Landing along with music and lawn games.

The BBQ runs from 6pm-8pm, plus there will be free popcorn and s'mores!

In addition to the food, there will also be free drinks & lawn games for everyone to enjoy.

Donations are greatly accepted to keep costs low and support future events at Riverfront Park
