A 20-year-old Florida man who's originally from Maine claimed a $450 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot Friday, opting to collect $282 million at once instead of receiving more in annual installments.

The winner, Shane Missler, is from Topsham and a 2015 graduate of Spruce Mountain High School in Jay, according to his Facebook page.

The winning ticket was purchased from a 7-Eleven store in Port Richey, Florida.

The night of the drawing, Jan. 5, Missler posted a simple message to his Facebook page.

He is the fourth-biggest winner in Mega Millions history, according to lottery officials.

Missler matched all five main numbers and the Mega Ball.
