Darling's, based out of Bangor and Ellsworth, are offering a reward for information to the person or persons responsible for damaging several vehicles on their lot in Ellsworth.

Darling's put a Facebook post out on Friday about the incident stating a $5000 reward will be offered to someone who can offer information that leads to arrest and conviction of the responsible party.

The Darling's Auto Mall Facebook post from Friday reads as follows:

Darling’s Auto Mall is asking our community for help. Several vehicles at our dealership were damaged and we know other businesses were damaged too. We’re Offering a Reward of $5,000 for Information Leading to the Arrest and Conviction of Person(s) Involved in this damage at Darling’s Auto Mall.
Sometime late on Friday, March 26th or in the very early morning hours of Saturday, March 27th several new vehicles were damaged at Darling’s Auto Mall on Kingsland Crossing in Ellsworth. Persons with information regarding this incident should contact the Ellsworth Police Department’s Anonymous Tip Line at 207/669-6699.
The payout of cash rewards for information leading to the conviction of person(s) involved is contingent upon the accuracy and value of information provided, and the actions taken based upon that information.
Persons wishing to remain anonymous will be honored to the degree allowable under the law and the information will be held in the strictest confidence allowable. This reward expires 5/31/21.

Darling's explains that the incident happened between late evening March 26th or early morning March 27th at the Ellsworth Darling's Auto Mall location at Kingsland Crossing.  The reward for information expires the last day of May.
