Wanna make simple and easy treats? The University of Maine will show you how!

The Mainely Dish is a video series that is part of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program. They have some easy to make treats that are perfect for summertime, especially during a humid week like this.

If you aren't very handy in the kitchen (like myself!) all of these dishes are very simple to make, with easy to follow instructions.

One of my favorite things to eat this time of year is pasta salad. This recipe features pasta and summer veggies, a little garlic clove, Italian seasoning, and of course, cheese

Frozen Strawberry Sandwiches sound cool and refreshing. All you need is yogurt, fresh strawberries, and a bunch of graham crackers

Forget Todd Simcox, make your own homemade salsa with corn, fresh diced tomatoes, diced onions, fresh garlic cloves and lime juice

Delicious Rhubarb Muffins

Carrot Pie

Cheesy Lentil & rice Casserole

Soft Pretzels!

Cowboy Rice & Beans. Chopped onions, green bell peppers, pinto beans, rice, and some barbecue sauce make for a perfect summer dish.

Peanut Butter Balls. I am completely obsessed with this recipe. It's like no bake cookies on steroids!

Behold! Confetti Yogurt Pops

Butternut Squash Bisque
