Bangor’s Downtown Charcuterie Is Opening A New Location In Brewer
Having a Labor Day Weekend get-together? A charcuterie board will get the party started.
When Downtown Charcuterie opened its location at 50 Hammond St. back in February, it was an instant hit, so now the business is expanding to Brewer.
Charcuterie boards have become all the rage in the last few years. Now there will be a second business devoted to it at 231 North Main St. in Brewer.

The word “charcuterie” is a French term for a line of cooking devoted to prepared meat products, primarily from pork. But now it has also become synonymous with wooden boards piled high with meats and tasty treats, such as cheese, produce, crackers, toast, artisan bread, and dips or sauces.
Downtown Charcuterie is celebrating by offering 25% off all orders Friday and Saturday (Aug. 25-26).
Its charcuterie bar will be full and open for walk-ins. You’ll be able to customize a board or box that the company will make right in front of you. It will also have an indoor yard sale open at its 50 Hammond St. Bangor store.
It offers personalized charcuterie boards or boxes for events, snacks, date night or picnics. There is no doubt that a board full of delicious meats and cheeses would be a huge hit at any party or gathering to watch the action.
Ashley, who runs Downtown Charcuterie, welcomed everyone to check out the new storefront in a recent Facebook post:
