Concert Goer Dies at a Skrillex Show

Venues have capacity rules for a reason...

A 23 year-old woman suffocated while at an overcrowded Skrillex concert in India. Skrilly was playing at HUDA ground in Gurgaon, near Delhi. The open air venue was only expecting 5,000 attendees when more than 10,000 fans crowded in for the show. Some reports say as many as 15,000 people attended the concert.

It's believed that Aanchal Arora collapsed and died due to cardiac arrest caused by suffocation.

Aanchal's father has lodged a complaint with the event organizers, Clockwork Events. India's excise department is also filing against the organizers after alcohol was allegedly served to underage guests.
