As I reported yesterday the blue haired wonder, Chris Brown had his CD vandalized at a store in London. Looks like the stunt has helped boost his album sales!

Someone went into a HMV store in London and slapped quite a warning label on CB's new album 'Fortune.' The label read, 'Warning: Do not buy this album! This man beats women.' The store claimed the incidentwas an isolated one. Maybe so, but it was ALL OVER the internet. It seems that the vandal got their point across as well as letting the world know Chris Brown has a new CD out!

A rep for the store said:

“I guess they got their point across pretty effectively — with widespread coverage around the world, though, by the same token, quite a few more people now know there’s a new Chris Brown album out.”

'Fortune' is Chris Brown's fifth studio album, released on June 29th. It debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top 200, selling 135,000 copies in its first week.
