A real estate offer in Brewer is equivalent to a three-for-one deal, with three houses selling for less than $200K.

The houses are situated on the same piece of property, on State Street in Brewer. The large green house, in the front, was an apartment house that was in the process of being renovated, when I lived there. I'm unsure about whether this is still an apartment house, or whether it was converted to a single-family dwelling. Sitting behind the apartment house are twin single-family homes. I lived in one of those houses, when my kids were in high school, and loved the space. Back then, the two houses were connected by a communal back porch, before it was replaced with separate stoops. The only challenge we had while living there was parking.

I haven't been in any of these buildings in more than a decade, but the $190,000 price tag supports my suspicion that this would be an investment property, with some work needed to one or more of the houses. But, think about the possibilities. If you're looking for a landlord situation, this could be the perfect solution. One house has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, the second has 4 bedrooms and 1 1/2 baths, while the third has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Here's a look inside the property that is listed on realtor.com by Jay Peavey of Realty of Maine.
