Brewer Riverwalk Grand Opening Schedule for Saturday

The festivities are coming to open up the long awaited Brewer Riverwalk.  We've been anxiously waiting to enjoy the east side of the Penobscot after watching all kinds of heavy machinery come and go.

What is there to expect at the festival and when can you expect it?  Here's a run down of what's to come to the Bangor Riverwalk Grand Opening Festival this Saturday, June 8.

11 AM

• The festival is open
• Touch-A-Truck begins and will be available until 4 PM

Noon

• Chair massages by Soma Novo until 2 PM

1 PM

• Ribbon cutting ceremony
• Guest speakers until 1:30 PM

1:30 PM

• Face Painting until 4 PM

2 PM

• Fun run & walk with Adam Clark Fitness

Throughout the day appearances from the Next Generation Dancers can be seen as well as food trucks and other local vendors.

There will also be a Grand Prize to be won with a Riverwalk Stamp Card and rides available from the Bangor Historic Trolley.
