Borderlands 2’s Christmas DLC to Release Next Week
Gearbox has announced that Borderlands 2's third Headhunter add-on, How Marcus Saved Mercenary Day, will be available starting next week.
The downloadable content will be released on Dec. 17 for $2.99 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. It will feature weapons dealer Marcus enlisting the aid of the Vault Hunters when a train with a shipment of his guns goes missing in the village of Gingerton. The adventure through this winter wonderland will lead to a face-off against the Abominable Mister Tinder Snowflake, a gigantic snowman who looks mighty pissed.
If you manage to defeat the not-so-friendly snowman, you'll have a nifty snowman head to stick on your Vault Hunters. To get into the spirit of the holidays, new skins are available, such as a Santa outfit for Salvador and the requisite ugly sweater for Krieg.
Gearbox also says you should keep an ear out for a version of "Carol of the Bells" sung by a bandit. That should put you in the holiday mood, if not totally scare you.
