Big Deal Days and Fun Holiday Events Coming to Belfast

The little town of Belfast is bringing big things for the upcoming holiday season.

On Facebook they announced the holiday events that will be taking place in the coming weeks.

Only a few details have been given out but, here's a rundown of what's to come with the little Maine town with a whole lot of initiative.

Our Town Belfast Holiday Passport

From November 22 to December 19

In the past, the passport program allowed you to shop at participating Belfast businesses to win prizes. You visit 5 businesses and collect a stamp from each business after your purchase to enter a raffle for tons of prizes and gift certificates.

Our Town Belfast Menorah Lighting

On November 28

In the past, Belfast has celebrated the start of Chanukah with a public lighting of a 7-foot-tall menorah at dusk. We'll have to wait for more details on where they will be doing this event for this year's menorah lighting.

Our Town Belfast Early Bird Sale

On December 4

This annual event put on by Belfast is a Downtown-wide sale taking place across many businesses in Belfast. You can expect great discounts and promotions from retail shops and restaurants on this day.

On December 4, the festivities continue after a day of shopping the early bird specials in Downtown Belfast with a classic tree lighting event to finish off the day. In the past, this event has taken place at Post Office Square.
