The Belfast Ice Festival is back for another year!

Join the party in Downtown Belfast, February 27th–March 1st. It's a safe and fun way to get out of the house this winter, plus you can check out the State of Maine Ice Carving Championship.

Come take a walk and visit the ice sculptures that will be located throughout Downtown Belfast.

Take a break and have a drink at one of the ice bars, or participate in one of the many outdoor activities Belfast has to offer throughout the winter. If you’re visiting from out of town, make a weekend out of it!

Here are some highlights from the weekend schedule of events:

Friday

All day: 25+ ice sculptures will pop up throughout the day around Belfast.
All day: DoryWoman Rowing is excited to bring back the Salty Witch Sauna! Go for an hour long winter row and then slip into a hot wood-fired sauna,
Afternoon: Darby’s Restaurant, 155 High Street, Ice Bar will open.
4:00–5:00 p.m.: Delvino’s Grill & Pasta House, 52 Main Street, Smore’s Martini Making Class.
4:00–7:00 p.m.: Ice & Ales Tour, at the following locations:

Front Street Pub
Delvino’s Grill & Pasta House
Rollie’s Bar & Grill
Darby’s Pub & Restaurant
Nautilus Seafood & Grill
Must Be Nice Lobster

6:00–10:00 p.m.: Frost & Flannel Ice Ball hosted by Our Town Belfast at the Belfast Boathouse.
7:00 pm: Shine Performing at Marshall Wharf Brewing, 36 Marshall Wharf.

Saturday

All day: 25+ ice sculptures can be found around Belfast.
Time TBD: Live Ice Carving Demo at Nautilus Seafood & Grill, 3 Main Street.
10:00 am: State of Maine Ice Carving Competition Hand Tool Start time. Corner of Main & Cross Streets.
11:30 am–8:00 p.m.: Darby’s Restaurant, 155 High Street, Ice Bar will open.
1:00–3:00 pm: Belfast Academy of Dance Hot Cocoa and Bake Sale Fundraiser at the State of Maine Ice Carving Competition at the open lot between Traci’s Diner & Renew ME Spa on Main Street.
2:00 pm: State of Maine Ice Carving Competition winners announced

Sunday

All day: 25+ ice sculptures can be found.
10:00 am–4:00 pm: Grasshopper Shop, 105 High Street, hosting a warming station and the The Moody Dog Mini Trailer Food Truck all day.
11:30 am–close: Darby’s Restaurant, 155 High Street, Ice Bar will be open.
3:00–4:00 pm: Delvino’s Grill & Pasta House, 52 Main Street, White Chocolate Martini Making Class.
