Lights, camera, action. Have you ever wanted to be in a movie? I mean, honestly, who wouldn't want to be a star, even if it just means that you are an extra? Yes, I know extras are not always really noticed by moviegoers, but I am not going to lie sometimes it looks like they are having so much fun. Not to mention, they even sometimes get paid for having that small role.

If you have ever dreamed about being in a movie, now is the time to try. Kendall Cooper Casting is looking for extras for their upcoming film that is being shot in Rockland, Maine. If you are wondering what the name of this movie is going to be (so that you can brag to everyone when you become an extra), I have you covered. The film is going to be called "The Ghost Trap."

Unfortunately, I do not know the plot of this movie, but I do know that they need some extras. According to Kendall Cooper Casting - New England, they are looking for people of all ages and types to play extras in their upcoming film.

What Are They Looking For?

Well, as I said above they are really looking for anyone and everyone. They are looking for kids ages 6-17, people between 18-35 to play festival attendees and partygoers, and people the ages of 30-70 to play tourists, lobstermen, bar patrons, as well as many other roles.

When and Where is Filming?

They will be filming in the Rockland area between August 22nd - September 16th. Kendall Cooper Casting states that each extra role typically will work only for 1 or 2 days. The filming days are normally 10+ hours each day.

How Do I Become an Extra?

To become an extra, you will need to fill out this form. Along with the form, you will need to include two current photos of yourself that show your hair (yes, this includes facial hair) and at least one full body photo. There are rules when uploading the photos however, you cannot wear a hat, sunglasses, or mask, and you cannot use any filters (these do not need to be professional photos either).

If you are selected to be an extra, the casting team will reach out to you via email.
The best part about this is that casting will be ongoing throughout the filming schedule, and all extras will be paid.
