
Today Is The ‘Amanda Curry Annual Celebration’ In Brewer, Maine
All day today, you can stop by and give what you can, to help out a local area family!
In May of 2023, The Bangor area recieved some sad news, when Amanda Curry unexpectedly passed away. She was a mother of two, valued family member at High Tide, and a friend to so many here in the community.
When this tragic event happened, there was an overwhelming outpouring of sadness and love for Amanda on social media, from her many, many friends and colleagues.
From 11am-12am today, stop by High Tide, where you can join the celebration to remember, and share stories about Amanda Curry.
There will be live music twice today:
- Kevin Hamel will perform outdoors on the deck, from 12nnon-3pm
- Then from 7pm-10pm, Midnight Rose will be there to entertain you.
Some of Amanda's favorite food & drink specials will be on the menu that day, with a portion of the sales going to The Amanda Curry Memorial Trust
Food Specials:
- Soup du Jour-Minestrone
- Loaded Tots-Tater tots with bacon & cheese sauce
- The "Good Amanda" Queadila-Fried chicken, bacon, onions & sweet Thai chilli sauce
- Monte Cristo-French toast, ham, swiss, maple syrup. Served with fries & coleslaw
- Scallop Carbonara-Scallops, onions, bacon, spinach, alfredo sauce, tossed in linquine. Serrved with garlic bread
- "The Curry" Pizza-Bacon, pineapple, pickles, jalepenos
Drink Specials:
- Corona Light
- House Tequila Shot
- Jameson & Gingerbeer
If you can't stop by that day, High Tide has a cash donation jar set up in the bar area where you can donate!
Proceeds will be donated to support Amanda's daughters, Kieran and Kristin.
They ask that you be please be patient with the staff today, because they are anticipating a large turnout for Amanda.
