UPDATE: As of 3 PM Thursday, March 12th, the Festival has canceled this event.  Please visit the website for future Maine Science Festival events that will be happening this year.

The Maine Science Festival will take place from Wednesday, March 18th to Sunday, March 22nd at various locations throughout the Bangor region.

As the first and only festival like it in the State of Maine, get ready for dozens of activities and events that aim to focus on learning about the science around us here in Maine and beyond into the universe.

The festival will also include a commissioned symphonic piece about climate change in the Gulf of Maine called 'The Warming Sea' which will be performed by the Bangor Symphony Orchestra and composed by the BSO music conductor Lucas Richman.
