Over the last few years, we have seen several notable international celebrities pranked by the Russian comedy team of Vovan And Lexus.  The comedians have go viral for their zoom chat videos where they prank these notable people by pretending to be someone else.

In 2020, the team impersonated global warming protestor Greta Thunberg in order to prank Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.  During that interview, the made ceaseless jokes about Terrance & Philip, a cartoon that the boys on South Park are obsessed with.

More recently, they pranked Harry Potter author JK Rowling by pretending to be the president of Ukraine.

Now, they are at it again!  This time, they pranked iconic Maine horror author Stephen King.  Again, they pretended to be Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

During the interview, the comedians suggest that Pennywise (the clown from It) could help them win the war against Russia.  At one point, the comedians (as Zelenskyy) suggest that they could play the part of Pennywise in an upcoming movie.

They also discuss Donald Trump's time as president.

And, they make references to the Russian TV series, "To The Lake".  The series, which is about a plague wreaking havoc on Russian society, can be streamed on Netflix.

According to Wikipedia, the duo of Vovan And Lexus is made up of Vladimir Krasnov and Aleksei Stolyarov.  Because most of their pranks involve asking the target political questions, often trying to get the people to admit to things they wouldn't normally admit to publicly (watch the Stephen King prank to see what we mean) there is some speculation that the team are working for the Russian government.
