Another muddy Maine Day is in the books!

In 1935 Maine Day was created at the University of Maine as a day of spring clean-up of the campus. Classes get canceled for the day and the entire U Maine community, which includes students, teachers, staff and alumni get their spring clean on.

Each year Maine Day is held on the Wednesday of the last week of classes for the semester and the day is full of fun, with a parade, a barbecue in the steam pant parking lot and best of all, a volleyball tournament played in the mud!

Check out this cool video of all the Maine Day events held last Wednesday!
