Victim in Millinocket Shooting Dies; Bangor Man Faces Charges

The man who was shot at a Millinocket home last weekend had died.

Cameron Pelkey, 23, of Millinocket died overnight at EMMC in Bangor where he had been treated since the shooting on Sunday.

An autopsy today at the State Medical Examiner's Office in Augusta determined Pelkey died from a single gunshot wound.

Jason Mulligan, 45, of Bangor was arrested earlier this week and charged with aggravated attempted murder.

Mulligan is being held at the Penobscot County Jail.
