Like A Good Corn Maze? You Could Try One At Night!
Finding new things to incorporate into my family’s holiday traditions is a favorite past-time of mine. When fall hits, we know we’re going to go apple picking, carve a pumpkin and bake homemade bread and soups.
We know that at some point we’re going to watch "Hocus Pocus," and now "Hocus Pocus 2", drink apple cider, and rake leaves.

Another activity we've added to our fall roster of family traditions: Eating ice cream on a freezing cold night, after completing Treworgy’s Night Maze.
According to the Treworgy Website:
"The Night Maze is family-friendly, so there is nothing scary or 'haunted,' just good old-fashioned fun. Bring your own flashlight to wander through the maze. Each station will be lighted and guests will collect treats as they wander through the maze. The cafe will be open selling hot cider, hot chocolate, and donuts. We will have lighted hayrides and a campfire for warming."
This year's maze is the amazing Whinnie The Pooh Maze, recently voted Top Corn Maze in the country!
Each stop within the maze is well-lit. The hayrides, all decked out in Christmas lights, run every few minutes or so, so if you wanted to hitch a ride to or from the parking/check-in area to the maze entrance or to the café on the hillside, you won't have to wait long at all.
Wandering about the maze in the dark is a real thrill, especially when you can only hear the voices of the people around you, and barely make out shapes in the dim light between the lit stops.
In case it's cold, you'll definitely want some extra layers and extra hats and gloves. And maybe some extra napkins or hand-wipes to clean yourselves up, because despite it being chilly, you should definitely enjoy a victory ice cream at the end.
This year, Treworgy's Night Maze will run on Friday and Saturday, October 21 and 22, and the following Friday and Saturday, October 28 and 29.
