Train and the Goo Goo Dolls will perform at the Bangor waterfront this summer.

The two hit-making bands will play at Darling's Waterfront Pavilion on Tuesday, July 30, according to a Facebook post from Waterfront Concerts.

Train, whose hits include "Meet Virginia," "Drops of Jupiter," and "Hey Soul Sister," racked up a number of hits in the 2000s.

The Goo Goo Dolls ruled the charts in the mid '90s with songs including "Iris," "Name" and "Slide."

It's the second summer concert announcement in the past week. Earlier this week, it was announced Ozzy Osbourne would play in Bangor on June 15.

Tickets for Train and the Goo Goo Dolls will go on sale to the general public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 16. Make sure you're listening for chances to win tickets next week.
