The Z’s ‘Ton Of Pasta’ Is February 20th!
We are a little over two weeks away!
Winter is here, we found that out the hard way when we got a mini snow storm on Tuesday, but so far we have been pretty fortunate. You just know that before long, the harsh conditions, and bitter cold temps will arrive here in our area, and people will need help from our community. With that in mind, mark your calendars for our annual “Ton of Pasta” drive.
Z-107.3 and our sister stations here at Townsquare Media, will be out in force at Hannaford locations in Brewer, Union Street Bangor, Old Town, and Ellsworth, on Saturday, February 20th, 2021, from 9am-1pm.
The last 11 months have been so trying, but Z listeners and so many others came out in force back in November, for our annual "Free The Z" turkey drive. We collected over 3,600 turkeys to have our most successful year ever, so the pandemic isn't stopping folks from helping out those in need, and now with the new year upon us, the need is greater than ever.
One simple one box of pasta can feed a family of four and really make a huge difference after the holidays. Did we mention that it is really cheap too? A box of spaghetti costs about a buck. Last year all our stations combined, collected over 4 tons!
Grab whatever is in your cupboard at home, or stop by any of the Hannaford locations, where you can get all sorts of different types of pasta and sauce there. It doesn't matter if it is one box, or a $20 donation, any amount will really help people here in Eastern Maine. If you come see us, please mask up so everyone can stay safe.
Last year, we endured harsh conditions, but had such a great time meeting everyone! Hope to see you at our annual “Ton of Pasta” drive on Saturday, February 20th, from 9am to 1pm, in Bangor, Brewer, Old Town and Ellsworth!
Thank you from all of us at Z-107.3!
