The Nite Show’s 11th Season Premiere Features New Announcer
Hey Bangor, Danny is back with a new addition.
The 11th Season Premiere of The Nite Show marked the return to the show's home base of The Gracie Theatre in Bangor after several months of "scaled back editions" of the show from Dan's basement or an office conference room. There is no audience in the theater and there are visible changes being made to ensure safety.
The Nite Show with Danny Cashman has added singer and actress Christie Robinson to the on-camera team, Robinson will be the show’s announcer and will regularly appear in sketches and performances. They welcomed her aboard with a musical number from The Spice Girls...yes you read that correctly.
Robinson is an actor and a singer who has performed in a number of productions at Penobscot Theatre Company in Bangor, Ten Bucks Theatre Company in Brewer, and several stage shows in other states. She graduated from the Circle in the Square Theatre School in New York City, and earned a Master of Fine Arts - Acting from the University of Florida. Robinson replaces Joe Kennedy on the set, who opted not to return to the show for the 11th season.
Our old friend Mike Dow of Z-107.3's legendary Mike & Mike show stopped by the show. In addition to still doing radio, Mikey writes a column for The Maine Edge
