A week long celebration for all ages, starts Sunday in Blue Hill!

The Blue Hill Peninsula Night Sky Festival will take place from Sunday, September 29th, Saturday, October 5th, and it's jam packed with exciting activities for all ages.

This week long, first of its kind festival, will feature multiple events happening in and around Blue Hill.

  • Gaze at the stars and explore the night sky with expert guidance.
  • Catch inspiring films that highlight the importance of dark skies and the beauty of the universe.
  • Learn from experts about astronomy, dark sky conservation, and more.
  • Enjoy live music under the starry sky.
  • Sample delicious ice cream while connecting with fellow stargazers.

The festival is hosted by Dark Sky Maine, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting dark sky awareness and conservation.

Most events are free, and donations are welcome to support this great cause.
