The four pit bull puppies that were reported stolen on Sunday from a home in Hancock have been found and are in the process of being returned, according to the dog's owners.

The Hancock County Sheriff's Office is still working on the case and is expected to issue a news release. WABI is reporting that three of the puppies were found in Eastbrook and the fourth was at a separate location.

A tip reportedly led police to the locations.

Family members say three of the puppies, which are only six weeks old, were home as of 7:45 p.m., and the fourth was on its way.

We will update this story as soon as more information is available.
