Stockton Springs Home Searches Net Drugs, Stolen Tools, 3 Arrests

Three people are facing multiple charges after a search of two Stocking Springs homes turned up stolen goods, meth, cocaine, and heroin.

Maine State Troopers went to the home of 33-year-old Joshua Pomeroy on Thursday, after receiving a report of stolen tools and building supplies from a construction site in Stockton Springs. Investigators conducted a search of the residence and recovered a large quantity of the stolen tools and building supplies.

Further investigation took detectives to the Stockton Springs home of 40-year-old Joshua Breault. A search of that residence turned up more stolen property, as well as a large amount of drugs, including approximately 30 grams of heroin, 11 grams of methamphetamine, and 4 grams of cocaine base. A large quantity of cash was also recovered.

Joshua Pomeroy is charged with receiving stolen property, theft, violation of conditions of release, and criminal mischief. He was on several sets of bail conditions at the time of his arrest.

Joshua Breault is charged with aggravated trafficking of Schedule W drugs.

A third person was arrested and charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine.
