Still Waiting for Your Maine Property Tax Relief Check? Here’s When to Expect It

Last year it was announced that qualified home owners will receive tax relief payments of no less than $100 in the State of Maine.

Checks started getting dispersed the week of January 6th with daily batches being sent out to specific towns.  Batches consist of nearly 20,000 checks and a total of 310,000 checks are expected to be sent out to all those who qualify.

Office of the State Treasurer at Maine.gov has all the details including a list of the dates of batches and which towns are included with batches.
