A spring storm brought about a foot of heavy, wet snow to the area Thursday night, leaving thousands of Mainers without power.

As of 11 a.m., Monday, April 13, there were about 5,200 Emera Maine customers without power, according to the utility, with many of the remaining outages in Penobscot and Piscataquis counties. That's down from a high of more than 75,000 customers without power after the storm.

Central Maine Power reported more than 200,000 without power at the height of the outages.
