Saturday, December 7th, celebrate beautiful and scenic downtown Skowhegan with the 27th Annual Holiday Stroll.

Strolling will start at 10 AM and go until 2 PM in downtown  and along the Debe River walk in Skowhegan.  You can look forward to lots of activities like marshmallow roasting, late fall hula hooping, hot cocoa sipping and a fun petting zoo.

Along with the outdoor stroll, you will be welcomed indoors to the local shops and downtown businesses where a bunch of holiday activities will be set up for young and old alike.  Expect Santa's Village activities, an Elf-on-the-shelf scavenger hunt and carriage rides to entertain you and move you from place to place.

Also happening during the event will be the Kennebec Dip, a fundraiser to raise money for community revitalization projects in Skowhegan.  Do you dare to take a dip in the Kennebec River yourself?

There are more announcements to come for the event so be sure to keep up to date with the event, follow the 'Whoville Stroll' on the dedicated Facebook event page.
