Wrap up summer with a weekend of fun, on the water, at one of the most beautiful places in Maine.

Lots of kiddos go back to school this week, so the summer of 2022 is winding down. Sad but true! However, we do have a long Labor Day Holiday Weekend to look forward to, so it just might be the perfect time to hit the road in search of an adventure, and I can't think of a better one than being out on the water.

This Friday, September 2nd, and Saturday, September 3rd, the annual Camden Windjammer Festival will be held at the Camden Public Landing.

The event is produced and operated by the Town of Camden, theMaine Windjammer Association, local schooner owners, and volunteers.

Join the fun and welcome back the windjammers and schooners to Penobscot Bay this summer, the say goodbye as they venture out to sail once again.

There are two full days of events and fun for everyone to enjoy:

  • Fireworks
  • Pancake Breakfast
  • Lobster Crate Race
  • Chowder Challenge
  • Boat Races
  • Build-A-Tiny Boat
  • Windjammer Dinner Auction
  • Food Vendors
  • Craft Vendors
  • Schooner Open House
  • All Corners Boat Parade
  • Pirates of the Dark Rose
  • Live Music
  • Harbormaster’s Dance Party

Don’t miss the 2nd Annual Run, Walk, Skip, Jump Rope 5k, on Saturday, at the Camden Public Landing, starting at 8am, with registration at 7am
