ROAD TRIP WORTHY: The 2022 Crown Of Maine Balloon Festival

Up, up and away, in my beautiful balloon!

It's never too early to start making plans for summer adventures in the state of Maine, and if you are looking for something unique that the whole family can enjoy, this event certainly fits the bill. Ever wanted to go up to the sky in a hot air balloon? Well, now you can.

August 25th- August 28th The 2022 Crown Of Maine Balloon Festival will take place at the Northern Maine Fairgrounds, 84 Mechanic Street, in Presque Isle

Each year, The Crown of Maine Balloon Fest offers a weekend of events for everyone, featuring some very impressive hot air balloons, kids events, music, a ton of food & craft vendors, and much more family friendly fun!

Food & crafts will be open that Friday, from 4-8pm and Saturday, 12-8pm. They will all be located in the Forum building at the Northern Maine Fairgrounds

Tethered balloon rides will be available on Friday and Saturday evenings. They will start at 5:00 p.m. and will cost $10:00 for 12& over and $5:00 for children under 12. Tickets will be limited to 150 per evening. They will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. A specific time slot will be assigned for the purchased ticket.
