If you were on Stillwater Avenue and wanted to cut through to Bangor Mall Boulevard to get to Best Buy or Sullivan Tire, this would be the road.

Or if you were on Bangor Mall Boulevard and wanted to cut across to Stillwater Ave without going around, you’d use this road.

The portion that was the most 'beat up' has been re-paved.

Even during the worst of the road condition, you could still get to the businesses off Stillwater like Acadia Federal Credit Union, All About Travel, Deju Vu Salon, Maine Geeks I Phone and Computer Repair.

And before anyone points the finger at The City of Bangor, this is not a city street.

The road is privately owned by a private entity. They are responsible for plowing and for the maintenance like filling the potholes and in this case new pavement.

And for those that still like dodging potholes while they drive, keep going closer to Bangor Mall Blvd, past Sullivan Tire and you'll find lots there.

It could lead to damage to your vehicle, not to mention the fillings in your teeth.

And fingers crossed that small stretch is next on the list to be repaved.
