PVHS Student Plays National Anthem At Basketball Tournament

The Eastern Maine High School Basketball Tournament is in full swing at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor, and Penobscot Valley High School were represented by both the girls and boys teams yesterday.

Before tipoff, PVHS student Nicholas Rhodes rocked out our National Anthem on his guitar.

His performance was great, but PVHS was only able to pull of one of two victories. The girls teams beat Narraguagus 45-42, but the boys team came up short to Houlton, by a score of 72-32.
