Orland River Duck Race This Saturday
Watch as hundreds of rubber ducks race down the Narramissic River trying to cross the finish line.
Coinciding with the Orland River Day is the River Duck Dash on the Narramissic River in Orland. This fun event is basically won by chance so all can enter to race a duck.
The ducks are adopted for a small fee and new duck parents are given a certificate with their ducks number on it. Each duck is marked with a corresponding number. The goal is to hope the duck with your number is the first to cross the finish line.
The ducks are all released into the Narramissic River and float downstream with hundreds of people cheering their duck on. The grand prize is $500!
The duck dash takes place Saturday, June 24, 2017 at 2:30pm during River Day 2017 in Orland. More information can be found here.
