No matter your plans on Halloween here is an event that can replace or be a nice addition to the actual day. Two events actually.

Old Town Orono YMCA will host a family pumpkin carving event this Friday, Oct. 22 between 5 PM and 7 PM. The carving event will be followed by the showing of the movie Hotel Transylvania.

Then on Saturday night Old Town Orono YMCA will host a drive-in movie screening of The Conjuring 2. Earlier this month they held a vote for the movie you wanted to see, on their Facebook page and this was the movie that received the most votes, so there you go. The cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children, but the Drive-In Haunted movie is not recommended for young children.

For more information and to make sure they’ll have a pumpkin for you for the Friday night event, contact the Y on their Facebook page here
