New Website Showcases Maine Outdoor Dining Locations
During the pandemic, we've seen businesses maneuver around ever changing guidelines to meet the health and safety of employees and customers alike.
One way we've seen change is how restaurants have moved dining outdoors, which has proved especially difficult during the winter months.
One new website focuses on where you can dine outdoors in Maine so you can be sure that you and the employees are reducing the chances of getting COVID-19 while still enjoying a bite to eat and continuing to support Maine's local, small business economy.
The website is called Maine Outdoor Dine and shares where to dine outdoors in Maine all year round. Dozens of Maine restaurants are featured on the website which also includes a convenient map where you can locate places to dine in your region.
There are 8 sections to the map so you can quickly and easily find your next meal close to you. The 8 regions include:
- The Maine Beaches (southern Maine)
- Greater Portland and Casco Bay
- Maine Lakes & Mountains (western Maine)
- Kennebec & Moose River Valley
- Mid-Coast
- The Maine Highlands
- Downeast & Acadia
- Aroostook County
Incentive to share your experience is also included in this website where you could win a $50 gift card to a restaurant showcased on the website if you take a picture and share it on social media with #MaineOutdoorDine. You can enter the contest now until April 23rd with new winners announced every Wednesday.
If a restaurant would like to be included, check out the this form on the website to get your business listed.
