New Jersey Man Found With Heroin, Cocaine in Bangor Traffic Stop
A New Jersey man faces drug charges after police allegedly discovered $35,000-$40,000 in heroin and cocaine during a traffic stop Monday evening in Bangor.
Kayson Harvey, 23, is being held without bail at Penobscot County Jail on charges of Aggravated Trafficking Schedule W Drugs and with Violation of Conditions of Release.

Acting on a tip from the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, Bangor police stopped a vehicle on Union Street around 6:30 p.m. Harvey, the passenger in the car, had just come from a local bus station.
Due to a recent drug trafficking conviction in Maine, Harvey had post-conviction bail conditions which subjected him to searches by law enforcement. The officers searched the vehicle and Harvey’s alleged belongings and found a large amount of suspected cocaine and heroin.
