Some people, and their money, are inflation-proof.

I've thought a lot recently about the people who've won billions in the Powerball drawings. I can't imagine what it would be like to never, ever have to worry about money again. What would it be like to live in a world where money has no value, and it's just this thing you trade for what you want?

I mean, that all it really is anyway, but imagine having no limit on that. That would just be crazy. So when I start peeking around and see an $11M+ house for sale in Bar Harbor, I always wonder who's going to buy a house like this, and will it be their main residence, or just their Maine residence?

This house would require all the Big Bucks to afford.

This amazing property on 45 Milliken Rd. in Bar Harbor that we're looking at today sits on a 9.5 acre lot, and the main house is well over 7000 square feet. There's even a "smaller" house right on the property that could either be a guest house, or you could provide it to whomever is responsible for maintaining this crazy spot.

There's actually two other homes on the property as well. Maybe in-laws, etc. could live there. But you'll certainly never run out of room or privacy. For real, you've got some 9 acres in Bar Harbor. It doesn't feel much more private than that. Yes, you could live in the woods somewhere, but that defeats the purpose of ocean living.

This amazing spot is listed by Landvest, who specialize in luxury properties like this one. But enough of my rambling, let's get to the photos!

Enjoy looking at this beautiful home in Bar Harbor. It's only $11 million...
