To celebrate Pride month, one statewide organization wants to give you a flag to show your pride.
The Maine organization, EqualityMaine, has 2000 Progress Pride flags to give away to celebrate pride month. The giveaway is a part of their #ShowMeYourPrideME campaign.
The Progress Pride flag is a flag designed in 2018 by Daniel Quasar utilizing prior design of the rainbow flag for LGBTQ with newer additions of symbolism to represent marginalized communities of color and transgender acknowledgment, too.
The flags are 3 feet by 5 feet and are available now for pick up in over 40 locations around the State of Maine.
EqualityMaine is the first organization and the largest in the State of Maine to focus on the rights and issues facing gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender Mainers. The work through political action, education and more Here's the mission statement from the EqualityMaine.org website:

If you would like one of the Progress Pride flag, go to the EqualityME.com website and fill out a request form.
You will need to provide your contact information, including address, email and phone number. You can choose to make a donation to the organization with donation amounts set at $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 or other amount. You can then select where you would like to pick up your flag, which includes dozens of locations scattered around the State of Maine.
All donations are tax-deductible and you can choose to include your business or organization name in the form as well.
