Are you happy living in Vacationland? It seems a lot of people are!

Gallup.com has released the 2016 well-being index for every state with some good over all trends. Over all, the country's smoking decreased and regular exercise increased.

Looking at things like how social you are, your feelings towards your purpose, physical and financial health as well as community. According to the data collected Maine is in the top quintile ranked at #4 with a score of 63.6.

Maine did very well in the physical well being category while depression and obesity numbers increased in a negative way.

For yet another year Hawaii ranks as the happiest state in the country followed by Alaska and South Dakota. West Virginia was the least happy as well as Kentucky and Oklahoma. See the full data here.
