There is an app for that.

Or there will be.

The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife is in the development stages of their own app. How sweet will that be.

And they want to know what you would like to be able to access on their app.

Of course, on the water and in the woods it will be your gateway to all of the Maine outdoors. Sure you’ll be able to manage permits and licenses right on your phone but they are also working on new tools to enhance your fishing, hunting and trapping experiences.

Here is a link to the survey that Maine  Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife are working on right now.

Some thoughts to consider for the survey, a complete list of trails would be very helpful. Also a listing of water access sites around the state. Maybe even information about wildlife.

The slate is blank…well not really, but now is the time to reach out and give your opinion about things that they may not have thought of incorporating into their app unless you ‘tap them on the shoulder’
