Maine Celebrity Martha Stewart Shows Off, Selling Prison-made Nativity Set
America's sweetheart turned jailbird is making a comeback with her recent persona, especially since we've seen her become bestie's with rap icon Snoop Dogg.
Martha Stewart is a celebrity we love here in Maine because she is known in Maine as a resident on Mount Desert Island and has shared her love of home and food with the world in a long career on TV.
She recently shared an art project that she made during her prison time in 2004 and 2005 at the Federal Prison Camp in Alderson, West Virginia. A product of her 5-month stint in prison, it is a clay model of a nativity scene that also includes her inmate number etched onto the bottom of the project.
She went to TikTok to show off her nativity scene that she made in prison and it couldn't be more perfect:
@marthastewartYou’ll never guess where I made this nativity scene…😇Get ready for a storytime #HolidayCountdown#LearnOnTikTok#TikTokPartner♬ original sound - Martha Stewart
Not only is she showing off the nativity scene, she has also made replicas to sell- you know, just in time for the Christmas season. Tis the reason for the season, right?
Yep, you can get your very own Martha Stewart nativity scene that was made from her time in prison. It's available on her website for $119.20 or 4 interest-free payments of $29.80. This is actually a discounted price since it usually goes for $149. What a deal ;)
The nativity scene consists of 14 figurine pieces and is a Martha-approved full set of this iconic scene.
