A Benton man is accused of killing his sister and her husband in Waldo.

Glenn Brown, 66 of Benton, walked into the Belfast Police Department to tell police that he had shot his sister and her husband. Members of the Belfast Police Department and Waldo County Sheriff's Office went to the couple's Bonne Terre Road home in Waldo and found 64-year-old Tina Bowden already deceased. Her husband, 64-year-old Richard Bowden was transported to Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast, where he later died. The State Medical Examiner's Office says both people died of gunshot wounds.

State Police arrested Brown Monday evening and charged him with murder. He's expected to make his first court appearance on Wednesday afternoon.

Maine State Police continue to investigate the murders.
