Lincoln knows how to throw a good celebration!

I feel like every time I turn around, I'm reading about another festival or event the Town of Lincoln is putting together, and they all sound like so much fun!

From their Loon Festival in July to their Harvest Moon Festival in September, and all of the little pancake breakfasts, raffles, and town-wide contests in between, Lincoln is a great example of how small-town Maine gets it right and they really rally around community events.

And Lincoln is gearing up for their next fun event, its holiday celebration, set to take place Saturday, December 4th.

According to the Town Of Lincoln Holiday Event Facebook Page, the day will start with a Drive-Thru breakfast with Santa. Tickets are $2 per kid and it goes on from 8 AM to 10 AM at the Lincoln Town Office.

Later that day, around noon, they'll be honoring veterans with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Lincoln Veterans Memorial.

And in the evening, starting at 5, there will be a Festival of Lights Parade through town.

"The parade will begin at 5 pm at Lamson Funeral Home, travel down Main St., and end at the Town Office. This year's theme is Frosty the Snowman! After the parade, around 5:30 pm, we will have our annual Tree Lighting Ceremony, complete with hot chocolate, snacks, and carolers."
