One of Maine's most popular Tik Tokers got the attention of Lance Bass of the 90s boy band NSYNC after posting a video saying she was "breaking up" with him.

We first met Meredith Steele of Bath, who goes by @babiesofsteele on TikTok, when she called into the Q Morning Show during "Don't Judge." We were asking listeners to tell us about a famous relative they have and I made fun of her relative Tiny Tom Thumb saying he wasn't a real person.

She also made news in Maine when she gave $1000 tips to restaurant servers thanks to her 750,000+ followers. She called it the Venmo Challenge (aka "Flenmo Challenge") and her followers Venomed money to a dedicated account that she used to surprise restaurant servers.

Meredith recently posted a TikTok video on the day she was going to see the Backstreet Boys in Bangor. She was very excited about the show but had to confess that she was "breaking up" with Lance Bass of N'Sync since she was going to the show.

After the video went up, Meredith got a reply from THE Lance Bass himself saying, "Damn, you’re really playing games with my heart over here. You’re lucky I’m a BSB fan myself. Compliment Nick Carter’s frosted tips for me!"

That's a big deal that Meredith's "boyfriend" Lance Bass actually replied to her video, so she was not going to disappoint him and went ahead to honor his request of complimenting Nick Carter's frosted tips at the show by holding up a handmade sign that read, "Hey Nick! Lance Bass told me to tell you he likes your frosted tips!"

Nick Carter now replied to her saying "You understood the assignment," and giving a shout-out to Lance.
