If you're on Facebook, you've seen it. Your friends and tons of professional athletes pouring large buckets of ice water over their heads on video. Why?

It's called the Ice Bucket Challenge. The challenge is all about bringing awareness and raising money for ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease). ALS is a disease that affects the nerves in the brain and spinal cord that control voluntary movement. This social media craze is a brilliant way to gain awareness.

The deal is, you call out three of your friends to take the same challenge within 24 hours. If they do not accept, they need to donate $100 to ALS. Another part of a lot of these is to also donate even if you DO accept the challenge. If you can give $10, awesome! $1? That's great too. Awareness is awesome, but donating to this very important cause? Even better! You can donate directly to the ALS Foundation HERE.
We decided this would be a fun thing to do on a Friday on the Acme Rd. We challenge our sister stations! Q106.5, I-95 & 929 The Ticket! JR, Cindy, Nelson, Vanessa, Fred, Paul, Dorian, Dale & Clem! It's your turn! Grab a towel!
