Well that didn't take long.

According to an article in The Ellsworth American, real estate agent Dan Sargent said that there is a pending sale agreement between the Jordan family and an unnamed buyer. The sale had not been completed as of yesterday.

After suffering a loss this year in the family, the Jordan's decided to close the take out windows for good back in early May and listed the popular roadside eatery with Sargent Real Estate at $1,390,000. At this point the Snack Bar is no longer posted at MaineListings.com.

The 2.4-acre property also features a dining hall, two apartments, an arcade, a performance gazebo type structure. It has been the premiere take out snack bar in the Ellsworth area since the late '80s. Comments on the American's Facebook page show the area's excitement that the Snack Bar may have a chance of opening again, and most hope that the menu remains the same.
