It's open and ready to be explored! And this year, the corn maze at Treworgy Family Orchards is celebrating America's 250th, with what they're calling a "Statue of Liberty Maze".

Made from over 60,000 corn plants, this year's maze is comprised of a gigantic Statue of Liberty, a bald eagle, a liberty bell, and the letters USA and the numbers 250.

What started in 2001, the tradition of these gigantic yearly corn mazes at Treworgy's has become the longest continually running corn maze in Maine. There's a new design every year, many of which have won National Awards.

And this year's maze is in the running, once again, for the title of USA Today's Best Corn Maze.

While many like to explore the maze for the fun of it, there are others who like the competitive side of trying to complete the challenge for a prize.

"...To make the experience even more fun, we include a special map with riddles to figure out as you visit ' stations' inside the maze. When you complete the puzzle and bring your ticket to the cafe, you’ll receive a free kiddie vanilla, chocolate, or twist soft-serve ice cream cone!"

While the ice cream at the end of the maze is a personal favorite prize, this year there's even a goat up for grabs!

Whether you're racing to the finish, snapping photos, or just in it for the prizes—there is an opportunity this year to win ice cream, pizza, doughnuts for a year, or even a goat!"

There's even a Hall of Fame board in a tower in the middle of the maze this year, where you can sign your name!

The Treworgy's Corn Maze is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9 AM to 8 PM. On Sundays, they're open from noon to 8 PM.

While kids 2 and under get in for free, there is a cost for everyone else. Tickets are $12 on weekdays, and on weekends and holidays, that goes up to $15.

There is a discount if you have a large family. Groups of two adults and four or more children get a 15% discount, as do larger parties of 10 or more.
