According to a post put out on the Town of Eddington's Facebook Page, an ambulance that was recently taken out of service is available, for sale by bid.

"The Town of Eddington is offering for sale by sealed bid a 2008 Ford E450 Road Rescue Ambulance with 112,963+/-miles. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 pm, December 10, 2024. All bids must specify the exact dollar amount to be paid by the purchaser and must be submitted in an envelope marked "Ambulance Bid". The Board of Selectmen reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids."

Eddington's Town Manager, Shawna Hinkley, says that the ambulance is not currently inspected, and will be sold "as is". Bidding ends December 10th, after which the ambulance will be available for pick up on December 18th.
